A truly different experience of travelling in Spain.
4 days/3 nights from 21 to 24 September 2018
On arrival in Bilbao we’ll travel to the city centre where our hotel is located.
We’ll visit the riverside market to see the fresh products and interact with local sellers. We’ll also spend time in the old town admiring the traditional Basque houses and walking through the quaint narrow streets which are typical of the area.
After lunch we'll visit the Guggenheim museum, a cultural jewel of the city. After a free time we will start the tapas tour, visiting the best tapas bars in Bilbao.
We’ll go on a day trip to nearby San Sebastián by the coast; the city with more Michelin stars per capita than any other in the world!
On arrival, we’ll walk along the beautiful beach ‘La Concha’, and you will have free time to take the cable car to Igueldo hill with stunning views of the city.
For lunch, we’ll go on a tapas tour trying San Sebastián’s specialities at selected bars.
We’ll have some free time before returning to Bilbao and will relax before meeting up again to go to our private cooking masterclass. We will prepare a traditional Basque dish with the help of our chef.
After check out at the hotel, you’ll have free time in the morning when you could visit landmark buildings and others museum, go for a walk by the river or buy some last minute souvenirs before meeting up for lunch.
A table will be booked for us at a traditional Basque restaurant.
After lunch, it's time to go to the airport for the flight back home.
