A truly different way of travelling in Spain.
4 days/3 nights from 19 to 22 October 2018
ITINERARY
DAY 1
On arrival in Madrid we’ll transfer to the city centre where our hotel is located. After some free time, we'll meet you at the hotel to go out for a drink and dinner.
DAY 2
We’ll start the day with a guided tour visiting the most important places of the Spanish capital: medieval streets, majestic squares and 1200 years of history!
We'll then visit the well-known San Miguel food market, the liveliest culinary spot. Alongside stalls selling fresh produce are tapas bars offering a wide variety of treats so we can have an 'aperitivo'.
After lunch nearby, we’ll visit the elegant Salamanca district where some of Madrid's best shops can be found.
On returning to the city centre, you will then have free time before going out together on a tapas tour, visiting the best bars in Madrid.
DAY 3
We’ll go on a day trip by train to nearby Toledo, a World Heritage City. In the Middle Ages, Toledo was a melting pot for Christian, Muslim and Jewish cultures.
Together with our local guide, we’ll walk along the beautiful medieval town through the quaint narrow streets and visiting some important buildings of Mudéjar and Jewish architecture.
After lunch, there'll be some free time to visit the cathedral, the Alcázar fortress or any other buildings and shops.
After returning to Madrid, we will relax before meeting up again to go to our private cooking masterclass. We will prepare traditional Castilian dishes with the help of our chef.
DAY 4
After check out at the hotel, you’ll have free time in the morning when you could visit the Royal Palace, a museum, go for a walk in the centre or do some last shopping before going to the airport.
