Our Cooking Your Nutrition Club offers Nutrition & Science education in a real-life context.

With every session, students will discover different aspects of nutrition and science while they prepare and eat two healthy tapas.

From the nutrition side, topics include: Origin and seasonality of produce, reading nutritional information on packaging of products, what is energy, exploring nutrients, exploring sugars, diet and dental health, what is a balanced meal and much more.

From the science side, children will learn about: Emulsions, foams, gels, colloids, suspensions, protein chemistry, oxidation and reduction reactions, crystallisation, bacterium in food, acids and bases, chemistry bonds, changing states, biochemistry of making cheese, fats and oils, heat, PH and much more.

By teaching and encouraging healthy eating habits as well as creating an interest in science, we are giving children important tools for a lifetime of healthy living and an appetite for continuous learning.

Our Main Teachers

Sandrine is a registered Nutritional Therapist. She is a member of the British Association for Applied Nutrition and Nutritional Therapy (BANT), which is the regulatory body for Nutritional Therapists and she is on the register of the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC). Managing director

David has twenty years of experience in developing and providing training. He has been working in Spain, US, Chile and UK developing workforce development training programs and dynamics for Universities and companies. David has a master’s degree in Chemistry from Salamanca University; he is a Certified from Harvard University in Science and Cooking. You will not only learn the HOW you will also learn the WHY.
