A truly different experience traveling in Spain.
On arrival in La Coruña we’ll travel to the city centre where our hotel is located.
We’ll visit the food market to see the fresh local products and interact with the sellers followed by a mid morning stop to have a traditional chocolate with churros. We’ll make our way to the beautiful María Pita square and also spend time in the old town admiring the traditional houses and walking through the quaint narrow streets which are typical of the area.
After lunch at a traditional restaurant, we’ll visit the area of the Torre de Hércules, the oldest Roman Lighthouse in the world (II a.D.) and World Heritage Site, with outstanding views to the sea.
On returning to the city centre, you will then have free time before going out together on a tapas tour, visiting the best bars in La Coruña.
We’ll go on a day trip by train to nearby Santiago de Compostela, a World Heritage City.
On arrival, we’ll walk along the beautiful medieval town visiting the surroundings of the impressive cathedral and other important buildings. We'll stop half way for a beer in a terrace.
After lunch and trying Santiago’s specialties you'll enjoy some free time to get lost through the beautiful medieval streets and visit the Cathedral or other museums.
After returning to La Coruña, we will relax before meeting up again to go to our private cooking masterclass*. We will prepare traditional Galician dishes with the help of our chef.
After check out at the hotel, you’ll have free time in the morning when you could visit a museum, go for a walk in the centre or buy some last minute souvenirs before meeting up for lunch.
A table will be booked for us at a traditional Galician restaurant.
After lunch, it's time to go to the airport for the flight back to London.

It was known as the ‘city of three cultures’ in the Middle Ages, a place where – legend has it – Christian, Muslim and Jewish communities peacefully coexisted. (Lonely planet)
